Moving Day!


New office, same standard of excellence! Peak Incorporated finally moved into its new office and we couldn’t be more excited!

        Eric quote: “ I am excited for the new opportunities that will come from this move.  I know that the atmosphere that this new office provides will  spark growth and opportunity.”

 Sunday marked the official day of moving everything to our new office. We can’t recall the last time we saw so much stuff packed into a U-Haul. Thanks to Anthony we were able to fit it all in one trip. Everyone knew Madeline had arrived once we noticed fresh baked goods being passed around for everyone to enjoy. (I think we finally got her to admit her secret recipe, butter and sugar!) With everyone working together we were able to move an entire office into a moving truck in about 2 hours. It was now time to take the journey to the new office! 

Suz on the old office: “The old office was good to us, but we are growing and expanding, doing exciting things with our business that we needed a new space. The new office has great  locations and surroundings and outdoor areas for office nights and team building.”

  We officially arrived to 4251 Kipling st. Suite 500 officially at 2:45 pm. We took a quick tour of the office before we got back to work unloading the truck. Billy “the beard” was most excited about all the space in the Assistant Manager’s office because now he had plenty of space to have his own Yoga sessions. 
      
       Intermittently throughout the day we were able to keep ourselves entertained by tossing around a football. We found out two very important facts about our team while tossing around the pig skin: 1) Madeline has a canon for an arm, 2) Although Dillon played division I baseball, throwing the football is a foreign task for him. Eventually tossing a football turned into tossing snow balls at the girls while they were heading out to pick-up lunch! The good news is that Andrew has very good aim, the bad news is he was aiming at poor Brie’s face. 

While the ladies were away picking up lunch, for what seemed like an hour. The gentlemen were able to completely finish unpacking the U-haul. Thanks to their huge muscles… Upon return, the ladies definitely had a surprise for the guys, in the form of water guns! Once the guys realized what was going on, it was futile for them to run. The ladies organized a strategic military attack, whereby they flanked both sides of the moving truck while two more rogue water gunman attacked from the rear. The men were surrounded and they paid for their earlier snowball transgressions . Touché’ Ladies!
The day was capped off with everyone gathering to fill our bellies with pizza and beverages. We even had a special guest appearance by Mrs. Superfly herself, Billy’s Mom. 
 
Monday brought the first official day in the new office. Everyone that didn’t make the moving party was super excited to finally see the new space. 

Nichole Leopard on new office: “It was cool. It’s exciting to finally have our own space and the realization of the new opportunities that come with the new office!”

We wasted no time getting settled in. Eric got right down to business having everyone divide into groups to take care of the final tasks that come with settling into the office. We worked together to take care of setting up the final pieces of furniture, organizing our office spaces and administration desk. 
Monday also saw a solid group of gentlemen heading up to Greeley for the week for a company work trip. Including Mike G., Jon, Joe, Andy, Taylor, Sam, our office Russian Sergey, and of course this group of studs was led for the week by our Ryan Kelly. 
The excitement of the new office hadn’t worn off when Tuesday rolled around. There was still some housekeeping tasks that needed to be done and the task forces set up the previous day wasted no time getting into their grooves.  We found out the answer to a very odd question; “How many full grown men does it take to put together an office chair?” When it came to Eric’s new chair the answer was FOUR! It better be the most comfortable chair ever assembled… 
We also had some exciting news for Colleen, her first day out of training she made over $200! Our very own miss Sarah-Jo ran an awesome morning meeting to get everyone pumped up for their day. After a great day of work on Tuesday we had the fun task of finding a local spot to host our first Team night in a new area. Every Tuesday we get together after work to let off some steam and have fun with our awesome staff we have at Peak Incorporated. We found a local grill called the Hopper where we enjoyed Karaoke, pool and great buffalo wings! The highlight of the night had to be the many karaoke performances by some of our favorite team members. Suz, Colleen, Sarah-Jo, Randi, Christian and a few others who started things off with a great rendition of “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough”.  Other noteworthy performances included Trevor singing “Little Red Corvette”, Tim and Ali rocking out to Bloodhound Gang, Kevin going old school with some Johnny Cash “A Boy Named Sue” and finally the night cap was a large group performance of “If You Wanna Be My Lover” by the Spice Girls.  

Kevin on Team Night: “It was hilariously awesome, especially the karaoke part. That was a blast!”

 Wednesday brought a big surprise guest for the office. Todd Trace, the area manager for Century Link, stopped by to congratulate us on our “phenomenal” successes and to get a first-hand glimpse of what makes Peak Incorporated the #1 office on the Century Link campaign!! Out of 17 offices in the country working on the Century Link campaign, we have been #1 for the past two quarters and still getting better! We generate the most revenue week in and week out for our clients, the secret to our success is definitely hard work and having awesome team members.  

Billy on Todd Trace visiting: “It’s cool to have one of the big dogs of Century Link come in and tell us that compared to any other office in the United States, we do a better job than all of them.”

 Thursday’s are great days for the office, there’s an excitement in the air. While other businesses are thinking about weekend plans and happy hours, we know it’s our chance to set ourselves apart and finish the week strong. One thing we do to help stay motivated is have little friendly contests between everyone in the office on Thursdays. Sometimes people have contests whereby the non-winner buys the other a coffee or a meal.


Thursday evenings bring everyone’s favorite night of the week, Office Night. We go out to various places around Denver as an entire office. It’s a chance for everyone to bond and relax and have fun in a non-office setting. It’s also a good time for people to make good on their friendly wagers they had lined up for the day. This week we enjoyed each other’s company at Wazee’s Supper club.

Suz:  “We always get the job done for the client and afterwards we have fun”
